We provide technology to enable Smartphones to communicate with external sensors and try to improve personal sensors themselves. Through fisica, we allow the iPhone to speak to other devices that interact using the ANT+ protocol, a useful standard used by lots of sensors because of the very low power requirements.
Wahoo Fitness have quite a few projects going on but one of our most important development efforts is focused on creating an Android solution that achieves the same result - allowing Android phones to speak with ANT+ sensors. Because of the differing hardware used by Android phones, we are attacking this on a few different fronts and expect to have a product available next year. Stay tuned.
