The Approach G3 integrates a high-sensitivity GPS receiver into its waterproof frame, eliminating uncertainty, to inform you of the exact yardage from your position to your shot's destination.  Fairways, hazards and greens are all visible on the Touchscreen display, with distances calculable, to ensure a better predictability for your swings - and hopefully excise some of that characteristic golfer's rage.

With the Approach G3, GARMIN have finally made golf more accessible to the masses.  With it, you can preview upcoming courses, allowing you to better gauge your shots.  Its display permits touch targeting to any point on the course, and allows you to zoom in anywhere, including the final sections with Green View.

The Approach G3 comes preloaded with 600+ courses for Australia, with more slated to be added and updated with no membership nor additional cost to you.
